Job Summary

Work hands-on with strategic customers adopting emerging Figma developer workflows, starting with Make Local. Lead technical discovery and readiness assessments for deployments, provide implementation support (setup, debugging, triage), and align with cross-functional teams to help customers reach value faster. Capture and synthesize customer feedback, blockers, and workflow patterns to inform product and engineering roadmaps, and build reusable enablement assets to scale the Forward Deployed Engineering motion.

Key Responsibilities

•Partner directly with strategic customers to understand technical goals, workflows, codebase environments, and implementation constraints.
•Conduct technical discovery and readiness assessments for customer deployments, including repo/environment setup, permissions, configuration needs, and adoption blockers.
•Provide hands-on implementation support for Make Local and related workflows, including setup guidance, debugging, escalation triage, and recommendations.
•Align with Customer Experience, Solutions Consulting, Sales, Product, and Engineering to define success criteria, timelines, and account context.
•Capture and synthesize product gaps, bugs, workflow patterns, technical blockers, and customer feedback to inform Product and Engineering, and create reusable deployment enablement assets.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 152,800 - 296,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Software Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Technical Consultant, Sales Engineer, or Developer Advocate.
•Strong understanding of modern software development practices including source control, local development environments, deployment workflows, debugging, and build tooling.
•Proven ability to partner with enterprise customers to solve complex technical challenges and drive successful product implementations.
•Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
•Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments by creating scalable processes and leveraging emerging technologies such as AI and modern developer workflows.
