Job Summary

Design and prototype Coursera-produced technical and AI learning experiences for scaled delivery across short- and long-form content. Partner with technical SMEs and APAC partners to translate expertise into vendor-ready deliverables (outlines, storyboards, learning journeys, outcomes, and assessments), while building reusable design systems and acceptance criteria. Collaborate with Teaching & Learning and Learning Analytics teams to measure impact, improve assessment quality, and contribute to AI-assisted learning design and learning analytics–driven optimization.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead learning design for scaled Coursera-produced technical and AI learning experiences with modular, skill-aligned design and robust assessment design.
•Translate SME expertise into vendor-ready deliverables (learning outcomes, program architectures, outlines, storyboards, sequenced learning journeys, and assessment specifications) ensuring technical accuracy.
•Build replicable design systems, templates, and acceptance criteria to accelerate consistent production across vendors.
•Collaborate on repackaging by recombining modules and learning assets into new long-form offerings aligned to skill outcomes.
•Contribute to pedagogical innovation using AI-assisted design tooling, prompts, templates, and technology-enabled content development processes, and support data-informed iteration.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or a related technical domain.
•3–5 years of combined experience in technical domains and/or designing, teaching, developing, or supporting technical learning experiences or curricula.
•Experience as a technical instructor, curriculum developer, subject matter expert, bootcamp educator, learning designer, or similar supporting adult learners.
•Demonstrated hands-on technical proficiency building, prototyping, or implementing software applications, AI solutions, agentic workflows, or other technology-enabled products.
•Demonstrated experience leveraging GenAI to solve real-world problems, improve workflows, develop educational experiences, or build AI-assisted tools.
