Key Responsibilities

  • •Assemble and wire control equipment by working from drawings, engineering specifications, and manufacturing information.
  • •Determine necessary parts/materials, prepare requisitions, and prepare wire for assembly (cutting, stripping, attaching terminals).
  • •Route out, assemble, wire, adjust, fit, and modify parts, components, and sub-assemblies to form completed control assemblies.
  • •Check electrical/mechanical performance of completed assemblies to ensure conformance to Asheville Plant quality standards and make necessary adjustments/alignment.
  • •Execute engineering and customer changes and make repairs as required; report irregularities/equipment malfunctions and maintain required records while following safety and hygiene rules.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 19.5 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Must reside within a 50-mile radius of Avery Creek, NC (active-duty military exempt).
  • •Able to lift 35 pounds (waist/shoulder/overhead) and perform frequent bending, kneeling, stooping, squatting, and ladder work for material handling.
  • •Able to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
  • •Proven history of safe work habits and ability to work effectively without direct supervision.
  • •Must be able to work overtime (weekdays and weekends).
