Key Responsibilities

  • •Setup and maintain machines in the shop for pipe fabrication.
  • •Accurately measure, record, and add random pipe lengths.
  • •Measure and cut pipe using band saw and/or torch; perform rolling/grooving and threading/beveling with Landis machines.
  • •Move loose and/or bundled pipe within the pipe yard and assemble pipe orders into sticks or bundles.
  • •Follow vital safety precautions for fabrication, cutting, assembling, stacking, and shipping of pipe; operate powered industrial equipment per OSHA and Ferguson procedures.
