Key Responsibilities

  • •Locate and mark pipeline facilities per the company Damage Prevention Program and One-Call procedures prior to and during encroachments and excavation.
  • •Perform pipeline patrols, population density surveys, leak detection surveys, and inspections according to company procedures.
  • •Coordinate local damage prevention activities and provide oversight/inspection of excavation activities near pipeline facilities.
  • •Inspect projects related to excavation near pipeline facilities and repair of pipeline facilities, including contractor oversight and document completion.
  • •Represent the company with landowners/tenants, public and emergency officials, train personnel, handle callouts/emergencies, and complete required mapping, record keeping, and documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED.
  • •Experience analyzing, adjusting, and making minor repairs on compressor engines, pumps, and associated equipment.
  • •Knowledge of compressor or pump station, process plant, gas treatment, storage facilities, and gathering and transmission pipeline operations.
  • •Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, P&IDs, and other diagrams.
  • •Knowledge and safe handling practices for flammable gases and liquids, including high- and low-pressure systems, plus company and regulatory requirements.
