Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist cooks with daily food production while adhering to food safety rules and IKEA standards.
  • •Coordinate and ensure compliance with IKEA Food Safety programs and incident reporting via CASY.
  • •Follow standard recipes and portioning, maintain cleanliness, and prepare production schedules as allocated by the Chef.
  • •Maintain equipment and machinery to the highest standards, reporting failures and supporting preventative maintenance.
  • •Provide excellent guest experiences through attentive service and ongoing feedback with guests.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years’ experience in a service environment, preferably in sales or hospitality
  • •Secondary degree with an interest in the culinary or food service industry
  • •Strong customer focus with the ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • •Computer literacy and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • •Effective customer engagement: empathy, relationship building, and consistent guest experience
