Job Summary

Develop and refine radar test station hardware and related architectures for avionics systems integration laboratories (SILs). Analyze requirements to create detailed designs and specifications, validate through analysis and testing, and track technical performance against program objectives. Integrate designs into existing SIL infrastructure, maintain configuration management of hardware/software, support supplier make/buy recommendations, and investigate emerging technologies for future radar testing needs. This is a 100% onsite role in Berkeley, MO.

•Analyze customer and system requirements to develop architectural approaches and detailed specifications for SIL test sites and radar test station products and upgrades.
•Develop and maintain radar test station hardware, including high-level and detailed designs aligned with requirements.
•Validate designs using analysis, peer review, and standalone testing, and track technical performance measures for requirement compliance.
•Integrate designs into existing SILs infrastructure and provide engineering support across the lifecycle of SIL products.
•Maintain configuration management of test station hardware and software and support supplier management with make/buy recommendations.

•Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry.
•14+ years of work-related experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 12+ years with a master’s degree, or 9+ years with a PhD.
•10+ years of experience in engineering.
•10+ years of experience in radar systems.
•Experience with electrical circuit design and electrical schematic analysis.
