Key Responsibilities

  • •Proactively lead and perform EDD on customers, making recommendations in line with the risk appetite statement.
  • •Conduct client-facing EDD site visits/calls and regular follow-ups with clients and RM/GRB to understand, challenge, and document risks and issues.
  • •Identify transactional and industry risks (e.g., nesting and high-risk industries) through analysis of payment activity and account-based data.
  • •Draft detailed comprehensive written EDD reports covering risk assessment and analyze financial intelligence reports/data.
  • •Escalate risk concerns promptly, support other EDD team members and internal stakeholders, and assist with audit or remediation queries as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in financial crime with knowledge of financial crime risks across correspondent banking, Money Services Businesses, third-party payment processors, digital asset currencies and payments.
  • •Strong anti-money laundering / counter-terrorism financing foundation, plus Anti-Bribery & Corruption and/or sanctions control experience in a large banking environment or consulting/risk management background.
  • •Ability to analyze transactions and transactional data to identify risks such as nesting and high-risk industry exposure.
  • •Degree holder (or equivalent) and/or willingness to study and obtain relevant industry qualification (CAMS/ICA).
  • •Excellent written English and client service communication, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
