Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide safe and quality non-clinical technical support and assistance for cardiopulmonary and respiratory care services following AHD and department policies.
  • •Prepare, monitor, and maintain cardiopulmonary and polysomnography equipment, including setup, availability of accessories/supplies, pre-use checks, and calibration.
  • •Disinfect and clean cardiopulmonary equipment and manage soiled single-patient-use supplies according to infection prevention and control standards.
  • •Maintain daily/monthly equipment, accessories, and supply requirements for the department, including equipment repair reporting and follow-up through Service Requisition Software and inventory management.
  • •Perform environmental rounds and daily patient room safety/respiratory supply and temperature/humidity checks; assist with end-of-shift review and patient care plan/clinical event reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •High school graduate.
  • •Minimum of two (2) years of clerical and technical experience as a medical assistant in a hospital, clinic, and/or warehouse (including equipment inventory, delivery, and cleaning/supply availability).
  • •Knowledgeable of patient care process and patient services for the cardiopulmonary department.
  • •Skills in processing equipment and supplies inventory, delivery, patient medical billing, and cleaning medical equipment.
  • •Ability to lift or move medical supplies or medical equipment over 20 kilograms.
