Job Summary

Build and maintain backend services and collaborate across the full stack for Saga, a voice OS that enables hands-free control of workflows using natural speech. You’ll develop APIs with REST and GraphQL, ship incremental improvements, and optimize performance and database design. Working with a startup-like full-stack team, you’ll participate in architecture discussions, translate product requirements into deliverable tasks, and use Node.js, TypeScript, React, and Next.js to deliver resilient experiences.

•Build, ship, and maintain backend services using Node.js, Socket.IO, AWS Amplify, and DynamoDB.
•Develop frontend features using TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
•Design and integrate REST and GraphQL APIs to support scalable data access across services.
•Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions to drive clarity and shared ownership.
•Translate product requirements into parallelizable, incrementally releasable tasks while balancing short-term delivery with long-term scalability and performance.

Salary: USD 150,000 - 220,000 annually

Key Requirements

•3+ years of experience on a full-stack engineering team building and maintaining production-grade services.
•Professional experience with TypeScript, including API development, backend service design, and system integration.
•Experience building reusable, composable UI components with clear state management.
•Proven ability to optimize database performance via schema design, query tuning, and indexing.
•Strong communication skills and ability to navigate technical tradeoffs in a cross-functional environment.
