Job Summary

Design, implement, and maintain security controls across AWS environments, ensuring cloud workloads, identities, data, and infrastructure are secure, compliant, and resilient. Build secure AWS architectures, enforce IAM least-privilege and encryption, and deploy monitoring/detection using services like GuardDuty, Security Hub, CloudTrail, and CloudWatch. Lead cloud incident investigations, strengthen network protections (VPC, WAF, Shield), and support DevSecOps automation with Terraform/CloudFormation and CI/CD.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and implement secure AWS architectures using best-practice frameworks such as the AWS Well-Architected Security Pillar.
•Configure and manage IAM roles, policies, permission boundaries, and least-privilege access models.
•Deploy and tune threat detection and monitoring using services like GuardDuty, Security Hub, CloudTrail, and CloudWatch.
•Implement network security controls including VPC security controls, NACLs, security groups, WAF, Shield, and private connectivity patterns.
•Lead cloud-focused incident investigations, remediation activities, vulnerability management, and security documentation (policies, runbooks, architecture diagrams).

Key Requirements

•Deep knowledge of AWS security services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, KMS, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, WAF, and Shield.
•Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation for secure provisioning.
•Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for scripting and automation.
•Familiarity with securing Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS EKS for container security.
•Ability to apply Zero Trust models and strong understanding of networking, encryption, authentication, and cloud threat modeling.
