Job Summary

Plans, organizes, and directs survey teams to determine precise location, elevations, lines, areas and contours for construction, mapmaking, land division, and titles. Researches previous survey evidence and records to obtain data, establishes control points, records measurements, coordinates findings with engineering and architectural personnel, and prepares maps, plots, and legal descriptions while upholding safety and quality on site.

Key Responsibilities

•Read and understand contract documents, drawings, specifications, and health and safety measures, including updates.
•Perform survey work under the direction of the Resident Engineer and site team.
•Develop new data from photogrammetric records; establish horizontal and vertical control points with reference ties.
•Record measurements, rod readings, and calculations in field books; ensure data accuracy.
•Coordinate findings with engineering/architectural personnel, clients, and others related to the project.
