Job Summary

Drive consistent account management delivery for HSBC Securities Services’ strategically important clients across SSV products. Own client retention through close partnership with executives, client service management, product and operations; manage escalations, service reviews, and client due diligence. Lead commercial operations (fees, aged debtor management, commercial and service-level agreements), strengthen governance and internal controls, and partner on operating model improvements, service enhancements, and digital tool adoption.

Key Responsibilities

•Partner with client executives, client service management, product, and operations to drive client retention and satisfaction for a reference-able client base.
•Create and maintain detailed client plans mapping organizational structure and key contacts; manage proactive non-operational queries, issues, and escalations across products and jurisdictions.
•Conduct and manage service reviews and support ongoing client due diligence for HSBC.
•Oversee commercial operations including fee schedules, aged debtor management, and maintenance of commercial and service-level agreements; ensure governance, meeting schedules, and compliance with internal controls.
•Understand client operating models, manage change requests, drive service improvement opportunities and client improvement plans, articulate the product roadmap, and promote adoption of digital tools and a co-service model.

Key Requirements

•Experience in securities services, client management, business implementation/change, business development, and/or senior operational leadership.
•Client-facing ability with excellent communication and presentation skills, including leading and managing meetings.
•Proven track record maintaining and retaining client relationships across securities services products while executing departmental strategy.
•Understanding of core commercial and contractual drivers and business performance.
•Proficiency in securities services regulations for client management, with strong controls, risk management, and mitigation understanding.
