Key Responsibilities

  • •Define what success looks like in planning by translating client objectives into execution planning and consultation with critical individuals and documents.
  • •Construct and maintain high-quality project schedules (WBS, task creation and estimation, logic, critical path, resource/cost allocation, buffers).
  • •Perform assurance reviews to ensure schedules meet quality standards before submission.
  • •Monitor and control schedule performance using baseline management, planning workshops, progress data collection, performance measurement, variance reporting, and escalation.
  • •Evaluate project status and make recommendations through weekly meetings, schedule narratives, risk reviews, recovery/scenario planning, and commission schedule-management culture.

Key Requirements

  • •Demonstrable knowledge of best-practice planning principles, including translating client lifecycle and procurement strategy into execution planning.
  • •Technical competence in schedule construction (WBS, calendars, duration estimation, schedule logic, critical path networks, resource/cost allocation, buffers).
  • •Working knowledge of planning systems such as Primavera, Project Online, Microsoft Project, and Asta Powerproject.
  • •Experience using assurance reviews (e.g., Primavera Schedlog, Acumen Fuse, or DCMA 14 Point Checklist) and self-checking to ensure schedule quality.
  • •Prior project controls experience in infrastructure (rail, aviation, highways, water, marine/ports, utilities, nuclear), plus experience in at least one of programme controls, Earned Value (EVM), change & risk management, planning, project controls, or PMO.
