Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist the Chief Engineer in day-to-day running of vessel/tug movements and operations in line with NMDC regulations and procedures.
  • •Maintain engine room and deck machinery to ensure smooth operations.
  • •Ensure all machineries and safety systems work safely, efficiently, and within provided parameters.
  • •Own individual objectives agreed upon and those of the division.
  • •Investigate and respond to internal and external stakeholder needs; coordinate and mediate as required.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 5 years sea-going experience.
  • •Degree or Diploma in Marine or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent professional qualification).
  • •COC (Certificate of Competency) as 2E.
  • •Must hold a DP license.
  • •Ensure engine room and deck machinery maintenance for smooth operations.
