Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate with multi-functional teams to align and maintain failure analysis planning, methodologies, and requirements.
  • •Develop test strategies for new features, including test equipment and diagnostic software specification and validation.
  • •Perform detailed failure analysis, including PCB-level debugging, to isolate faults for physical failure analysis.
  • •Investigate product failures, root-cause complex issues through lab experimentation, and propose containment and corrective actions for design, production, and supplier problems.
  • •Maintain involvement in containment, risk assessment, and risk mitigation; generate 8D reports and verify/characterize corrective action effectiveness.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of hands-on experience in system/board level hardware verification and debugging.
  • •BS or MS degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • •Knowledge of manufacturing and production testing of boards and systems.
  • •Experience developing system tests and working with components such as servers, storage devices, network devices, power supplies, cooling systems, security, and software.
  • •Exposure to digital design, circuit analysis, schematic review, statistical analysis, firmware, drivers, and diagnostic software applications.
