Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and optimize ELTs to integrate new data sources and enhance data management in the data warehouse (DWH) and other systems.
  • •Drive cross-functional collaboration with engineering, data science, and analysis teams to deliver documented, reproducible datasets for healthcare KPIs, benchmarking, and product features.
  • •Drive business outcomes through data solutions (e.g., reducing cost, increasing accessibility).

Key Requirements

  • •Data Ingestion / ELTs and Orchestration: fetch and prepare data using Python and SQL; familiarity with Prefect or Airflow; ingestion from Files, S3, Iceberg tables, APIs, databases and external sources.
  • •Cloud Platform Expertise: AWS experience including Snowflake, S3, EC2 and ECS; knowledge of data storage, security and scalability on AWS; PowerBI and DBT a plus.
  • •CI/CD and Automation (Github Actions): implement CI/CD pipelines and automate data workflows to reduce manual effort.
  • •Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency with Terraform to define/provision cloud infrastructure (AWS resources) for versioned, declarative management.
  • •Education/Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS, Data Science, Engineering, or related field; 3+ years in data engineering building production pipelines; healthcare domain experience a plus.
