Job Summary

Assist commercial lenders with verifying, compiling, and completing loan applications and loan extensions. Prepare new loan requests for loan processing by reviewing loan files for completeness and established standards, ordering and submitting documentation to loan operations, and supporting pre-funding and loan-closing workflows. Compute payment and interest, prepare loan packages for booking and shipping, handle telephone inquiries, and ensure required BSA/AML and compliance training is completed.

Key Responsibilities

•Verify the accuracy of completed loan offering memorandums (LOM).
•Order supporting documentation and submit LOM to loan operations.
•Perform pre-funding review and close/fund loans as needed.
•Prepare loan packages for shipping and booking and compute payment and interest.
•Process draw requests, loan payments, and transfers, and handle loan research questions and telephone inquiries.

Key Requirements

•High school or GED plus specialized schooling or on-the-job education in a specific skill area, with 2 years related experience and/or training (or an equivalent combination).
•Ability to read and understand documents such as policy manuals, procedure manuals, and operating instructions.
•Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and effectively communicate with customers, clients, and employees.
•Basic mathematical skills, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing using money and other measurement.
•Preferred: Notary Public. Completion of required BSA/AML and other compliance training as assigned.
