Job Summary

Serve as the main legal point of contact for Invesco’s APAC ETF businesses, acting as the APAC regional representative within the global ETF legal function. Draft and update prospectuses and fund documents, support regulatory authorization and listings, and advise on ETF structuring and launch. Liaise with regulators and exchanges, monitor APAC regulatory developments, and partner with ETF business and product stakeholders to manage legal risk and align legal approaches with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

•Act as the main point of contact for all legal aspects of Invesco’s APAC ETF businesses, including local ETFs and cross-listings.
•Draft, review, and update prospectuses, fund documents, and service provider agreements; prepare and submit applications for regulatory authorization and listings.
•Advise on ETF structuring and launch in compliance with local and international legal frameworks.
•Serve as primary liaison with regulators and exchanges for ETF-related approvals, inquiries, and ongoing legal matters.
•Identify, advise, and help manage legal risk for the APAC ETF business while coordinating internal controls and partnering with APAC/global legal and ETF business teams.

Key Requirements

•Qualified to practise law in one or more jurisdictions, with strong legal training and academic background.
•Qualified solicitor in Hong Kong with 5+ years’ PQE in a law firm or in-house role, with strong ETF/funds/asset management background.
•Direct experience engaging with regulators and exchanges in APAC markets.
•Fluent in English and Chinese, both spoken and written.
•Some knowledge of UCITS regulations is helpful; prior cross-border ETF passporting experience is a plus.
