Key Responsibilities

  • •Own warehouse process and infrastructure improvement strategies that maximize asset effectiveness while managing capital and R&M spend within budget.
  • •Serve as a subject matter expert for MHE, industrial racking systems, warehouse automation, and facility design/optimization/infrastructure.
  • •Develop and maintain multi-year execution plans for owned and leased warehouse facilities and evaluate operating budgets and capital tradeoffs.
  • •Lead capital planning and execution for PIT and racking projects, including replacements, upgrades, and network-wide initiatives.
  • •Partner cross-functionally with operations, automation, program management, and finance; engage suppliers, 3PL partners, and site leadership to deliver projects safely, reliably, and on targets.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics Management, or a related engineering field.
  • •Minimum of seven years of industrial engineering or logistics and distribution engineering experience.
  • •Extensive experience with warehouse infrastructure and building systems, including material handling equipment (MHE), racking, dock equipment, and drop lots.
  • •Experience with material handling automation technologies including AGVs, AS/RS, and conveyor systems.
  • •Project management experience for capital projects up to five million dollars.
