Job Function: Manufacturing & Production Operations

Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist in production scheduling for a given production work center, including identifying need dates for all part shortages and projecting long-term high-level rate needs for the department.
  • •Create a rate-based schedule for your hardware and define/track constraints across your build for the next 6+ missions.
  • •Use an established schedule to create and generate stakeholder buy-in on various scenarios to determine optimal hardware allocation between new/refurb hardware that take into account customer needs, current mission manifest, and customer quality requirements.
  • •Work with production teams to set, track, and execute daily and weekly goals for the work center that take into account personnel and equipment constraints but support overall rate targets.
  • •Build strong relationships with internal suppliers and establish high-accuracy means of communication for both estimated hardware needs and completion dates.

  • •Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of manufacturing scheduling, planning or operations; OR 3+ years of professional experience with manufacturing scheduling, planning or operations.
