Job Summary

Product Developer to shape Burberry’s Knitwear collections from concept to production, based in London. Collaborates with Design, Product Engineering and global vendors to translate creative vision into high-quality, commercially viable knitwear while balancing innovation, quality and cost. Manages end-to-end development, critical paths, and PLM data, driving timely delivery and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

•Partner closely with Design as a technical collaborator, attending fittings and guiding feasibility to bring the creative vision to life in Knitwear.
•Lead end-to-end development of knitwear styles, ensuring samples and prototypes are delivered on time, to quality standards and within cost targets.
•Own and manage the critical path from concept to pre-production, proactively identifying risks and driving solutions to maintain delivery timelines.
•Build strong, collaborative relationships with vendors across Europe and Asia, aligning capability, cost and quality while protecting design intent.
•Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of PLM data, communicating changes clearly to cross-functional partners to avoid disruption.

Key Requirements

•Strong technical expertise in knitwear product development with a deep understanding of construction, materials and fit.
•Ability to translate creative ideas into commercially viable, high-quality product while balancing creativity and cost/margin.
•Experience managing complex critical paths and vendor relationships across international supply bases.
•Proven ability to work in partnership with Designers, translating concepts into feasible production.
•Excellent communication and collaboration skills across functions and cultures.
