Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead customer technical projects by delivering production-grade systems and reference architectures across data engineering, ML/AI integration, and applications.
  • •Guide strategic customers through end-to-end design, build, and deployment of big data and AI applications, with input from engagement managers.
  • •Bootstrap or implement customer projects to drive adoption and successful evaluation of Databricks solutions.
  • •Own architecture and design decisions, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with customer needs and Databricks best practices.
  • •Collaborate with Databricks engineering, PM/architects, and customer support to deliver technical components and feed back product/implementation improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of experience in data engineering, data platforms & analytics, or software engineering.
  • •Comfort writing code in Python, Scala, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frameworks.
  • •Working knowledge of two or more cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) with expertise in at least one.
  • •Deep experience with distributed computing using Apache Spark, including Spark runtime internals.
  • •Experience with CI/CD for production deployments and familiarity with MLOps, ML/AI models, and AI APIs.
