Handle teller transactions while providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities

•Process teller transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, savings bonds, cashier’s checks, and cashier services.
•Cash checks and other negotiable instruments, examine documents for endorsements/negotiability, and process transfers between accounts.
•Verify and balance cash daily, detect and resolve discrepancies promptly, and maintain required balancing records.
•Operate online teller terminal and maintain privacy of customer information while resolving client requests and inquiries.
•Follow teller procedures consistently, adhere to compliance requirements, complete required reports/records, and assist with training/orientation as needed.

Key Requirements

•High school graduate or equivalent.
•Understanding of bank operations (preferred).
•At least one year of related experience/cash handling (preferred).
•Previous teller experience (preferred).
•Good communication skills, professional appearance, good math and typing skills, and ability to operate related computer applications and business equipment (e.g., adding machine, typewriter, coin/money counting machines, telephone).
