Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the Store Manager in day-to-day store operations within a divisional responsibility (Sales or Operations) to meet KPIs and profit and loss expectations.
  • •Assist with succession planning, recruiting, hiring, and training to reduce store turnover.
  • •Train and execute in-store standards across business, operations, sales/customer service, and visual merchandising.
  • •Complete and/or assist with recordkeeping for applicants, new hires, payroll, performance appraisals, salary reviews, counseling, disciplinary actions, and separations.
  • •Ensure cash management accuracy, shrink control, store and product security, POS integrity, and compliance with company policies and government legislation.

Key Requirements

  • •College or university degree and 1 year of retail experience, preferably in sporting apparel and footwear; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • •Prior management experience is preferred.
  • •Provide coaching and support talent management through evaluating performance and offering feedback.
  • •Demonstrate ability to prioritize and allocate resources effectively.
  • •Understand in-store retail operations including cash procedures and applicable government legislation.
