Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver accurate and on-time monthly payroll for HP Romania for 1600+ employees in compliance with local laws and company policies.
  • •Ensure compliance with the payroll provider through legal watch and ongoing oversight.
  • •Drive and validate payroll system configuration changes when new company policies or programs are deployed.
  • •Ensure end-to-end payroll processes are properly defined, executed, and controlled, while strictly meeting SOX procedures.
  • •Act as the HP representative to local authorities on payroll matters and lead tax and social security audits, while partnering with HR and controllership to resolve payroll issues and drive improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •Four-year or graduate degree in Business Administration, Finance, HR, Tax, or a related discipline, or commensurate work experience.
  • •Typically 7-10 years of work experience, preferably as a Romania Payroll Expert.
  • •Strong understanding of the payroll framework and Romania government regulations.
  • •Experience with SAP Payroll or ADP Global View.
  • •Fluent knowledge of Romanian and English.
