Job Summary

Lead the Finance function for HSBC Investment Funds Luxembourg (HIFL) across Luxembourg and its Ireland and UAE branches. Key Responsibilities

•Head the Finance function across HIFL Luxembourg, HIFL Ireland Branch and HIFL UAE Branch, setting standards for financial control and reporting quality.
•Deliver accurate, timely, compliant Group reporting, producing executive-ready MI and ad hoc insight for stakeholders.
•Own end-to-end statutory reporting, including preparation of IFRS financial statements aligned to Asset Management standards and maintaining ledger integrity.
•Direct the audit cycle end-to-end by coordinating auditors and ensuring timely, high-standard deliverables.
•Drive balance sheet and cost-base governance (reconciliations, budgets, accruals, accrual/invoice governance) and provide financial stewardship and risk oversight including regulatory returns and fee/interscompany governance.

Key Requirements

•Relevant professional accountancy qualification (e.g., ACA / ACCA / CA / CPA or equivalent).
•Strong experience in asset management, financial services, audit and/or private wealth management, with senior accountability for financial control and reporting.
•Deep knowledge of IFRS and financial statement preparation; knowledge of Lux GAAP and Luxembourg regulatory reporting requirements is an advantage.
•Strong leadership capability, including oversight of offshore/outsourced teams and delivery through a matrix environment.
•Strong communication skills to explain technical matters to non-specialists and senior stakeholders.
