Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver facilities and general services across the school, implementing policies, systems, and student safeguarding measures.
  • •Maintain cleanliness, maintenance, and safety; ensure site security and conduct daily site checks for vandalism and acceptable cleaning standards.
  • •Oversee repairs and maintenance, inspection of required repairs, and follow up with staff/contractors to complete agreed works satisfactorily.
  • •Support budgeting and cost management for facilities and building standards, ensuring best value and adherence to purchasing policy and Delegation of Authority processes.
  • •Promote a proactive health, safety, and environmental culture; monitor health & safety performance of contractors/suppliers and complete internal/external audits; act as designated Incident Commander when required.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum diploma/degree of higher education (or related industry qualification at graduate level).
  • •Certificate of Facilities Management and/or NEBOSH or IOSH (preferable).
  • •At least 3 years’ experience in a mid-level position in an education or facilities service-oriented industry.
  • •Fluent English communication skills (written and oral).
  • •Strong supervisory skills, commercial acumen, and attention to detail with timely follow-up.
