Job Summary

Monitor and maintain loan escrow accounts and related collateral to ensure timely insurance and tax processing. Serve as a liaison between the bank, lending teams, and third-party escrow, tax, and insurance vendors to resolve discrepancies. Perform regular escrow account monitoring, system updates and disbursement batch entries, review insurance notifications, balance escrow-related accounts, and generate accurate annual escrow statements while completing required BSA/AML compliance training.

Key Responsibilities

•Monitor escrow accounts to ensure timely remittance of payments to applicable agencies.
•Update the bank processing system and prepare batch entries for disbursement of payments to various agencies.
•Review insurance tracking requirements to ensure timely receipt of insurance notifications.
•Balance escrow pass-through accounts related to escrow agents.
•Serve as a liaison between the bank, lending staff, and third-party vendors to resolve escrow processing and insurance/tax tracking discrepancies.

Key Requirements

•High school or GED plus specialized schooling/on-the-job education, and 2 years of related experience and/or training (or an equivalent combination).
•Ability to communicate effectively with customers, clients, the general public, and employees in person-to-person and small group settings.
•Ability to calculate figures and amounts (discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, etc.) and apply fractions/ratios to practical situations.
•Ability to use common sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions and handle problems with several known variables.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with professional written and verbal communication skills.
