Job Summary

Support SoFi’s Corporate Development team by helping source, evaluate, and execute acquisitions, strategic investments, and partnership opportunities. Build bottom-up financial models and valuation analyses (including DCF and comps), create pro forma statements, and assist with accretion/dilution and purchase price accounting. Participate in due diligence, market and competitive research, and stakeholder coordination, and contribute to investment memos and board-level recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

•Identify, evaluate, and execute strategic transactions aligned with company growth ambitions across acquisitions, strategic investments, and partnerships.
•Assist transaction work from sourcing and qualification through financial modeling, due diligence, closing, and integration activities.
•Build detailed financial models and valuation analyses (e.g., DCF, comparative companies, sum-of-the-parts, returns models) and forecast performance under scenarios.
•Develop pro forma financial models, including pro forma income statements and balance sheets, and support accretion/dilution and purchase price accounting implications.
•Create investment memos and presentations for executive leadership and the Board, including synthesizing findings, risks, and considerations.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 104,400 - 159,500 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
•2+ years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, venture capital, strategic finance, or corporate development.
•Strong analytical skills with experience performing financial, valuation, and quantitative data analyses and understanding accounting and operational metrics.
•Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
•Ability to manage time-sensitive projects and communicate and present complex information to executives.
