Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide onsite injury prevention and musculoskeletal health services within the scope of practice.
  • •Engage employees proactively, assess musculoskeletal complaints, and deliver recommendations and education within established protocols.
  • •Provide early intervention strategies to reduce the risk of progression to more significant musculoskeletal concerns.
  • •Conduct job-specific movement observations and identify opportunities to improve ergonomics, positioning, and work practices.
  • •Collaborate with employees, safety and occupational health resources, and site leadership; document interactions and services and follow up to monitor progress.

Key Requirements

  • •Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • •Current and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the State of Ohio, or eligibility to obtain appropriate Ohio licensure prior to providing services.
  • •Current CPR/AED certification preferred.
  • •Experience in occupational health, industrial rehabilitation, ergonomics, sports medicine, outpatient orthopedics, or musculoskeletal injury prevention preferred.
  • •Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal assessment, functional movement, body mechanics, and injury prevention; can recognize when referral or escalation is needed.
