Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide initial ground training in aeronautical knowledge areas required for type rating issuance and other training per Airbus flight training manuals.
  • •Deliver recurrent ground training for pilots and Ground Instructors, including training for SFI & TRI.
  • •Train Ground Instructors to conduct initial, recurrent, or transition training in accordance with the FCTP as directed by the CGI/Head of Flight Training.
  • •Assist in development of training programs and check validation of training manuals and course materials used in flight training courses.
  • •Communicate issues of concern or exceptional achievements regarding trainee performance to the CGI/Head of Flight Training in a timely manner.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 3 years of experience as an approved Ground Instructor.
  • •Approvals for Technical and Performance on Airbus A320 Family must be current.
  • •Be an engineering graduate or hold a graduate degree with Physics and/or Mathematics from a recognized board/university; or be a qualified pilot/flight navigator/flight engineer/flight dispatcher/ATCO with at least 2 years of aviation work experience.
  • •Alternatively, be an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with at least 3 years of experience as an AME.
  • •Strong knowledge of regulation and industry best practices, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
