Job Summary

Own the Cadence Quantus extraction product and support 3DIC flow integration with RC extraction. Partner with foundries to define Quantus R&D requirement specifications for tool enhancements, and work with R&D to qualify Quantus for foundry certification and release to mutual customers. Use experience across RC extraction, LVS, EMIR, simulation, and electromagnetic field solving, plus automation scripting on Linux.

Key Responsibilities

•Responsible for the Cadence Quantus extraction product and 3DIC flow integration with RC extraction.
•Work with foundries to capture and develop requirement specifications for Quantus R&D tool enhancements.
•Work with R&D to qualify Quantus.
•Get Quantus certified by the foundry and released to mutual customers.

Key Requirements

•MS in EE or CE major is preferred.
•Experience in RC extraction, LVS, EMIR, simulation, or related applications; familiar with Cadence tools such as Quantus, Pegasus, Tempus, Voltus/Voltus-Fi, and Virtuoso.
•Experience in electromagnetic field solver for RC extraction is a plus.
•Experience with circuit design, LVS, RC extraction, simulation, foundry process technology, and device element structure.
•Proficiency with Perl/Tcl (or other scripting languages) on a Linux platform for automation is required.
