Key Responsibilities

  • •Troubleshoot, maintain, and perform basic electrical work in the plant, including working with 110/240/480-volt AC motors and DC drive systems.
  • •Read schematics and estimate/design basic electrical system layouts; calculate wire/pipe sizes and line up pipe runs.
  • •Install/replace conduit and assist in projects supporting equipment including conveyors, pumps, cookers, hydrolyzers, presses, steam traps, and piping systems.
  • •Use electrical, pneumatic, and heavy industrial tools and equipment (including cranes and lifts) and perform related fabrication, welding, cutting, equipment removal, and installation tasks.
  • •Follow OSHA/NEC and plant safety policies, document work information, and communicate with others in written and verbal form.

Key Requirements

  • •1+ year of accumulative electrical or industrial maintenance or millwright experience (Electrician Maintenance EC01–EC08).
  • •Good working knowledge of OSHA, NEC Codes, and plant safety policies/procedures.
  • •Ability to read and work from schematics and calculate wire/pipe sizes.
  • •Hands-on experience troubleshooting and maintaining electrical systems in the plant and installing/replacing conduit.
  • •Ability to perform related project work including welding/cutting and rigging (with experience/certifications).
