Key Responsibilities

  • •Work cross-functionally to design, build, and operate solutions that improve and automate security capabilities.
  • •Leverage data to understand trends and metrics, then execute improvements to strengthen security posture with stakeholders.
  • •Lead and enhance incident response efforts, including analysis, containment, and mitigation for security incidents.
  • •Craft and refine security documentation for the Security Program (policies, standards, baselines, and SOPs).
  • •Mentor and coach more junior engineers or analysts.

Key Requirements

  • •BS/BTech (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or a related field, with 8 years security domain experience without degree.
  • •4+ years of experience acting as a trusted advisor in a team setting, delivering short- and long-term business value.
  • •4+ years of experience coaching other engineers or analysts.
  • •Experience with modern cloud data platforms (e.g., Postgres, Snowflake, Databricks, AWS S3) and data architectures like data warehouses, data lakes, and lakehouses.
  • •Proficiency in scripting/programming (e.g., Python) for automation and integration, including experience with regex patterns and data security for PII/PHI and healthcare privacy requirements (e.g., HIPAA).
