Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as CRE / Lead Engineer, taking full accountability for technical delivery, design approval and independent review across project stages.
  • •Lead the delivery of complex traction power and substation design packages, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • •Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and governance within the team and liaise with clients and stakeholders.
  • •Undertake site visits and surveys to inform design development and resolve technical issues; provide construction-stage design support.
  • •Support bids and proposals with technical input and ensure compliance with relevant standards and project requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant experience in traction power and high voltage substation design.
  • •Experience acting as CRE / Lead Engineer.
  • •Experience delivering complex projects across feasibility, outline and detailed design stages.
  • •Experience leading multidisciplinary coordination and overseeing design teams.
  • •Chartered status, working towards chartership, or demonstrable experience operating at Principal level.
