Job Summary

Field Service Engineer providing on-site service for Cymer DUV laser equipment at customer sites. Performs installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair, travels to customer sites, trains less experienced engineers, and ensures customer satisfaction while operating in a highly technical semiconductor environment.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Analyze, diagnose and troubleshoot laser equipment problems at customer sites or via telephone.
•Install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on laser equipment at customer sites.
•Travel to customer sites as required to perform service activities.
•Provide technical training, guidance and assistance to less experienced field service engineers.

Key Requirements

•BS degree in electrical & electronics preferred; diploma holder with 5 years experience in semiconductor industry will be considered
•advanced technical knowledge in optics, electronics (analog and digital), control area networks, and semiconductor manufacturing equipment
•minimum of 2 years experience in repairing and maintaining similar equipment and interfacing with customers
•experience providing technical leadership and guidance to others
•entry level candidates is welcome to apply
