Job Summary

Support US Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) by installing, configuring, and maintaining complex LAN/WAN and related network systems. Monitor network availability, lead advanced troubleshooting, and oversee network control center operations. Perform complex network design across multiple technologies, evaluate and integrate new technologies, and translate requirements into telecommunications needs (LAN/MAN/WAN, voice and video). Provide leadership and mentoring for junior and mid-level engineers within an INFOSEC/COMSEC environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Install, configure, and support LAN, WAN, Agency Internet Network (AIN), intranet/internet, and other communications system segments.
•Maintain network hardware/software and monitor network availability; perform maintenance to support availability.
•Perform complex network designs across multiple technologies, evaluate new technologies, and recommend integration to project managers.
•Develop network architecture and design documentation; plan configurations and manage transition/migration including network addressing schemes.
•Provide advanced troubleshooting/problem resolution and technical leadership for network integration, delivering deliverables and mentorship to junior/mid-level engineers.

•10+ years of related experience (12 years preferred, or Master’s with 10 years).

•Security/computing environment requirements including DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II/8140 CE certification, IAT II 8570/8140 Baseline, and minimum CCNA to start with CCNP within 180 days (CCNP preferred on day one).
