Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and implement the global, distributed control plane that schedules satellite passes across mixed AWS/on-prem nodes
  • •Build and own customer-facing and internal control-plane APIs and workflows to search, reserve, update, and cancel satellite passes at scale
  • •Design and implement the workflow orchestrator coordinating satellite communications across sites and the world’s largest ground network
  • •Architect real-time TT&C/data-transfer interfaces for bidirectional streaming of commands and telemetry
  • •Design and implement control systems for ground station hardware and data pipelines to move data between ground stations and end environments

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 161,000 - 224,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •5-7+ years of professional software development experience
  • •Completed bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math or other related major
  • •Proficiency in Rust, Golang, C/C++ (preferred)
  • •Experience designing distributed systems and cloud computing (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud)
  • •Ability to design and implement RESTful APIs and front-end interfaces (JavaScript/TypeScript)
