Job Summary

Support the manufacturing operations team at the BaseCamp facility by performing routine, right-first-time cGMP manufacture of cell and gene therapy products including CAR-Ts, iPSCs, TILs, and mRNA. Execute aseptic processing through upstream and downstream steps, author/review SOPs and batch records, maintain training curricula, and partner with Quality Assurance and MSAT to resolve deviations, CAPAs, and change controls while continuously improving safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform routine right-first-time cGMP manufacturing of cell and gene therapy products, including aseptic processing, cell isolation/selection/culturing, cryopreservation, upstream/downstream processing, aseptic fill-finish, and visual inspection.
•Review/author SOPs and batch records and support material ordering/management for manufacturing activities.
•Provide input into the selection and setup of equipment, process, and material flows.
•Maintain training materials and curricula to support continuous improvement in cGMP cell therapy manufacturing.
•Collaborate with Quality Assurance and MSAT to proactively resolve deviations, CAPAs, and change controls; execute and review batch records and reports for manufacturing and scale-up activities.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 38 - 52 hourly

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences or related engineering with 2–4 years of experience in cGMP biotech manufacturing, preferably cell and gene therapies.
•Preferred experience with cGMP manufacturing and/or process development for CAR T, TCR, TIL, cell and gene therapies, and mRNA.
•Understanding of primary cell culture and experience with equipment such as BSC, Microscope, LOVO, CliniMACS, incubators, centrifuges, CRF, and G-Rex systems.
•Demonstrated aseptic technique and/or processing proficiency.
•Excellent communication skills and strong computer/word processing skills (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
