•Lead sophisticated technical work and may supervise teams on major-scope projects.
•Develop and apply technical standards and specifications for electrical systems (e.g., area classification, grounding design).
•Perform reliability initiatives using root cause analysis, PM optimization, and advanced electrical studies (arc flash, load flow, coordination).
•Ensure compliance with OSHA and DOT safety policies and evaluate engineering packages for adherence to standards, codes, and project objectives.
•Diagnose complex electrical issues, design and implement preventative maintenance programs, and provide guidance/training to field support engineers.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering (or engineering technology) from an accredited school, with Professional Engineer (P.E.) license option.
•Minimum 15 years progressive engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry.
•Strong theoretical understanding of power system analysis for low- and medium-voltage applications.
•Experience with power system analysis including short-circuit, coordination, and arc-flash hazard analysis.
•Proficiency with power engineering tools such as SKM Power Systems, ETAP, GE Multilin, and SEL Relay Software; knowledge of API/IEEE/NESC/NEC/NFPA codes and standards.
