Job Summary

Lead a mixed Mechanical & Electrical Engineering section within the MANTA organization, driving invention, development, build, and test of mission-critical hardware supporting Assured Position, Navigation, and Timing products. Oversee execution of mechanical/electrical engineering for funded programs and IR&D initiatives, collaborate across Mission Systems and RTX for technology transition planning, and develop innovation strategies with internal and external partners. Manage teams focused on customer satisfaction, risks, and delivery quality.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead a team in the invention, development, build, and test of mechanical and electronic solutions for Assured Position, Navigation, and Timing products.
•Oversee mechanical and electrical engineering execution across internally and externally funded programs and IR&D projects to achieve customer satisfaction.
•Develop innovation strategies through collaboration with internal/external customers and partner organizations.
•Collaborate across Mission Systems and RTX for technology transition planning and IR&D project recommendations.
•Develop and nurture internal and external networks with peers across Mission Systems Engineering, Value Stream leadership, and Operations.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a STEM degree and at least 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 5 years of experience.
•Must have or be capable of obtaining a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance (Active and existing clearance required after day 1).
•3+ years of experience leading cross-functional technical teams and developing people.
•Ability to lead invention, development, build, and test of mechanical and electronic solutions for Assured Position, Navigation, and Timing products.
•Demonstrated capability to build, mentor, and grow high-performing teams while driving accountability for deadlines, budgets, and quality.
