Key Responsibilities

  • •Create, modify, test, and deploy software for PLCs, data concentrators, multi-function protection relays, breaker control schemes, generator controllers, and HMI systems for Automatic Power Transfer applications.
  • •Quote general turnkey control schemes by analyzing specifications, pricing labor and materials, and writing proposed scopes of work.
  • •Assist with factory testing and field start-ups as required.
  • •Troubleshoot systems both onsite and remotely.
  • •Select components and create bill of materials; provide sketches/mark-ups and direction to electrical designers to develop project drawings.

Salary: USD 86,000 - 126,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with at least 3 years of experience in PLC programming and power distribution controls, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 5 years of power distribution controls experience.
  • •Ability to create, modify, test, and deploy automation/power management control software (including PLCs, HMI, and related components).
  • •Must reside within a 50-mile radius of one of the listed locations; no relocation offered.
  • •Current, unrestricted driver’s license and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (Regular Driver per Eaton’s Driver Safety Policy).
  • •Troubleshooting and testing knowledge for automation and power management systems, including working knowledge of relevant test equipment and diagnostic instruments.
