Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and build one or multiple parts of the database, including ingestion, query planning, distributed query execution, and storage formats.
  • •Help define and build the architecture for a multi-tenant SaaS database service, including tenant isolation, usage tracking, quotas, audit logs, and background jobs.
  • •Build agent-facing retrieval workflows by creating APIs and database interfaces for AI agents, MCP tools, CLIs, and internal applications.
  • •Collaborate with product and infrastructure teams to balance experimentation speed with long-term reliability as the system moves toward production.
  • •Instrument database services with metrics, logs, traces, alerts, and dashboards to monitor behavior and improve reliability.
