Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as team lead, project manager, and/or discipline lead on BRT planning, preliminary, and final design studies.
  • •Oversee engineering calculations, drawings, and visual aids for BRT infrastructure and prepare/review multimodal street design.
  • •Participate in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables and perform quality control on design calculations and drawings.
  • •Develop construction cost estimates and engineering effort estimates; prepare technical specification sections.
  • •Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and provide leadership, mentorship, and input to engineering budget and schedule.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Engineering plus 8 years of relevant experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •Professional Engineering (PE) license.
  • •Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D or Microstation/Power InRoads/Power GeoPak/OpenRoads Designer (ORD).
  • •Roadway design experience and Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and/or Light Rail Transit (LRT) design experience.
  • •US Citizenship is required.
