Job Summary

Support Nourish’s billing and revenue cycle operations by resolving patient billing questions, managing claim workflows end-to-end, and helping streamline processes through automation and tool improvements. Partner cross-functionally with Clinical Ops, Payer Ops, Customer Experience, and Product teams, and collaborate with Product and Engineering to test and optimize AI-powered billing tools, contributing feedback that shapes the evolution of RCM technology.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage patient-facing and internal billing questions, including denials, patient responsibility questions, and insurance coverage verifications.
•Handle claims end-to-end with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure a smooth billing experience for patients and providers.
•Identify opportunities to streamline workflows by proposing automation or new tools and optimizing individual process steps.
•Support ad-hoc operations projects, including payer-specific billing efforts and new service line expansions.
•Develop and maintain SOPs for operations workflows, flag process gaps, and proactively suggest improvements to the team.

Key Requirements

•2+ years of experience in an operations role, with bonus points for revenue cycle, medical billing, or healthcare experience.
•Patient-first communication skills to professionally and empathetically de-escalate billing concerns.
•Strong organization and detail orientation with the ability to manage multiple tasks and drive follow-through to completion.
•Comfort being energized by technology and automation, including using AI to improve billing workflows.
•Medical coding background (CPC/CCS credentialed) is a plus.
