Job Summary

Support the second-line Technology Risk & Controls function by performing control design and operating effectiveness testing across Technology Operations processes. Execute independent assurance activities to evidence control performance, support audit readiness (including SOX 404), and coordinate audit evidence with internal, external, and client stakeholders. Maintain risk and control documentation, validate remediation, and perform walkthroughs of automated and manual controls.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform control design and operating effectiveness testing across Technology Operations processes, including change management, access management, incident/problem management, and backup and resilience controls.
•Support internal, external, and client audits by preparing, coordinating evidence, and responding to audit queries impacting Technology Operations.
•Liaise with control owners and operators to obtain, validate, and clarify audit evidence and control documentation, maintaining accurate risk/control/testing/remediation records.
•Monitor and track audit deficiencies and review remediation evidence to confirm actions are implemented as designed and address underlying risk.
•Conduct walkthroughs of automated and manual controls, identify mitigating controls for gaps, escalate issues, and support development of risk and controls matrices and SOPs.

Key Requirements

•Solid understanding of Technology Operations control environments, including ITGCs, IAM, infrastructure, cloud platforms, and service management processes.
•Prior experience in internal or external IT audit, risk, or controls assurance roles.
•Working knowledge of SOX 404 and experience supporting SOX audits in complex or large-scale technology environments.
•Ability to execute control testing accurately and consistently in line with defined methodologies.
•Strong attention to detail and communication skills for explaining control requirements to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
