Key Responsibilities

  • •Remove and install molds according to safety guidelines using cranes, hoists, pallet jacks, tool carts, and forklifts.
  • •Connect required water lines, knockout bars, hydraulic/air lines, and hot runner controllers; install end-of-arm tooling (EOAT).
  • •Participate in SMED and contribute ideas for continuous improvement; prepare molds for production runs.
  • •Troubleshoot setup-related issues, verify and address leaks during mold set up and operation, and maintain accurate mold and tool locations using E-maint.
  • •Perform basic preventive maintenance, clean molds, address mechanical/operational defects, and follow tool schedules while maintaining a clean, safe workspace aligned with 5S principles.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED required; trade school or technical certification in machining or industrial mechanics is preferred.
  • •Minimum of one year of hands-on experience in an injection molding environment.
  • •Familiarity with connecting and troubleshooting water, hydraulic, and air lines, plus hot runner controllers and related equipment.
  • •Experience using material handling equipment such as cranes, hoists, pallet jacks, and tool carts is preferred.
  • •Proficiency reading electrical and electronic diagrams and schematics; ability to rotate shifts and work overtime as needed.
