  • •Architect, design, layout, measure, and productize ultra-deep sub-micron analog/mixed-signal IC designs for optical communications.
  • •Lead efforts for a large block on a complex chip, track deliverables, and participate in peer review of complex IC designs.

Key Requirements

  • •BSEE with 12+ years, or MS with 8+ years, or PhD with 5+ years experience.
  • •Experience designing, simulating, and measuring high-speed ICs in at least 3 areas such as high-speed serial links, system link simulation modeling, output drivers, PLLs, clock transmission, opamps/PGAs, and equalization.
  • •Ability to architect, design, layout, measure, and productize high-speed analog/mixed-signal designs for optical communications products.
  • •Experience with high-frequency layout and floorplanning for power/ground and analog/digital signal routing, including passives.
  • •Hands-on experience using design software such as Cadence Virtuoso and Spectre/APS/SpectreX, plus mixed-signal simulation tools (AMS) and Matlab.
