Key Responsibilities

  • •Support delivery of restructuring and debt advisory engagements on both lender and company side, including strategic advice, M&A and special situations transactions.
  • •Assist with formal restructuring matters including trading engagements such as voluntary administrations and receiverships.
  • •Help with sale of business processes in formal insolvency settings.
  • •Attend to statutory and compliance requirements.
  • •Assist with preparation of reports for clients and statutory bodies and contribute to pitches from time to time.

Key Requirements

  • •Good financial modelling skills, including cash flow forecasting and estimated outcome statements.
  • •Advanced written communication and strong report writing skills.
  • •Developed understanding of insolvency, restructuring and accounting principles, including statutory requirements for different engagement types.
  • •Experience in restructuring and insolvency matters, including formal appointments (job level equivalent to Consultant / Senior Consultant in Big 4).
  • •Undergraduate degree in Commerce/Business with a major in Accounting and/or Finance; completed or near completion of CA or CFA.
